ScriptCam FAQ

What is ScriptCam?

ScriptCam is an iPhone and iPad teleprompter that puts your script on screen, right under the camera, while you record. You look at the lens as you read your lines.

Can ScriptCam write my script?

Yes. Give the AI writer a topic and it drafts a script. Pick a tone (Conversational, Professional, Friendly or Bold) and a length from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. You can also type, paste or dictate your own, or start from a template.

How do I keep my eyes near the lens?

ScriptCam has five text positions, including just below the camera. You can also adjust font size, width and opacity, and choose from five auto-scroll speeds.

What does the free plan include?

The free plan includes 5 scripts, 3 takes per script, recordings up to 3 minutes, 3 AI scripts a day and video up to 1080p.

What does ScriptCam Pro add?

Pro removes those limits and adds 4K recording on supported iPhones, voice tracking that scrolls the script as you talk, cloud sync and link import. Choose an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

Can I compare takes?

Yes. Mark your best take, or play two takes side by side. Deleted scripts stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Do I need an account?

No. You can sign in with Apple, Google or email, or try ScriptCam without an account. You can delete your account any time from Settings.

Does it work with a beam-splitter teleprompter rig?

Yes. Mirror mode is built for beam-splitter teleprompter rigs.
